Before joining a TikTok LIVE agency, ask about the work

Questions MENA creators can ask a TikTok LIVE agency about coaching, reporting, account access, rewards and leaving, without relying on earnings promises.

A creator can leave an agency recruitment call with an exciting promise and still have no idea who will answer a message next Tuesday. That gap matters. The useful question is not only whether an agency wants to sign a creator, but what it will actually do once the creator joins.

Compare agencies by their written responsibilities, reporting and support process, not by an earnings promise. This is Qudwa’s editorial checklist for MENA creators preparing that conversation. It does not establish the terms of any particular agency or replace advice on a specific agreement.

Ask who helps, and with what

“We support creators” can describe very different arrangements. Ask for a named role, a contact route and a realistic response window. Is the contact a coach, an account manager or a shared support inbox? Who covers holidays or a change of agent?

Then ask for one example of a normal working week. A useful answer describes an actual service: reviewing a stream, planning a schedule, explaining a report or coordinating an event. It should distinguish regular support from something that is available only on request.

Language belongs in this conversation. An Arabic interface does not establish that a support team can answer in Arabic, and an Arabic-speaking team may work different hours from the creator. Confirm both rather than assuming either.

Ask to see how the figures are explained

A dashboard total is less useful if nobody can explain the period or the calculation behind it. Ask whether the figures describe a calendar month, a different reporting period, or the last successful update. Ask which totals come from a platform report and which are agency estimates.

If the agency describes a reward formula, request an illustrative calculation with the conditions written beside it. Does a percentage require a minimum number of days, hours or another target? What happens when only some conditions are met? Who answers a discrepancy?

These questions are not a demand for a particular rate. They are a way to distinguish a rule the creator can understand from a number that changes meaning during the conversation.

Agree on the request process

An event request, a promotion request and a report of a problem need not follow the same route. For each one, ask where it is submitted, how receipt is confirmed, who decides and how the outcome is communicated.

Keep a copy of significant requests and responses. If an app provides a history, check what it records before relying on it. A chat reply saying “done” is ambiguous if the creator cannot tell which request it refers to.

An app can be one place to organize those interactions, but software alone is not proof of good support. Disclosure: Qudwa and Devign share ownership; this is not an independent ranking or endorsement of an agency.

Keep access and promises separate

Ask the agency to explain any account-connection step before completing it, including what the connection is for and how it can be removed. Do not treat a screenshot, a logo or a message from an unfamiliar contact as proof of authority. Check the route through the platform and the agency’s independently verified contact details.

For background on platform features, consult TikTok’s own Help Center rather than treating a recruitment message as the final source. Feature availability and eligibility should be checked for the creator’s actual account and location.

A clear agency relationship makes responsibilities visible before anything goes wrong.

The questions to leave with

Before deciding, a creator should be able to answer: who is my contact, what support is included, where are my requests recorded, how are figures explained, and what is the process if I want to leave? Ask for the relevant terms in writing and read them before accepting.

Does joining an agency guarantee earnings? A recruitment promise is not proof of a future result. Ask what the agency controls, what the creator must do and which outcomes remain uncertain.

Is an app enough to choose an agency? No. A clear app can help organize the relationship, but the people, terms and follow-through still need to be evaluated.

The strongest recruitment conversation ends with fewer ambiguities, not a bigger promise.
